If you have allergies, there are many varieties of masks on the market. The most common mask is an inexpensive dust mask that is equipped with a single rubber band. There is a mask that has 2 rubber bands that seems to make a better seal on your face. It is a 3M model 8210 available at B&B Hardware. It is called a "Sanding and Fiberglass Respirator" and costs $4.50 for a pack of two.
