OVF welcomes new members

We invite you to join us and share in a uniquely satisfying urban gardening experience at Ocean View Farms.

Blessed with breezy, afternoon westerlies and spectacular views from Mt. Baldy to Mt. Wilson on the east, from Pacific Palisades to Pt. Dume on the north, and to Palos Verdes and Catalina Island on the south, urban gardening doesn't get much better than this.

In addition to the annual Plot Rental fee (2008 Plot Rental fees are $30 per plot) and a small Insurance fee (2008 Insurance fees are $6 per member) continued membership at OVF also requires a 12 hour per plot yearly community work commitment.

All of the maintenance and upkeep at OVF is done through these community work requirements.  While much of this is accomplished during our twice monthly workdays; held on the second Saturday from 9 AM until Noon and the last Sunday from 1 PM until 4 PM of each month, some of the work is also performed by various workgroups.  More information about OVF Workgroups can be found on our Workgroup page.
